Sheriff urges residents to attend meetings on law enforcement study

Posted 7 November 2017 at 8:20 pm

Press Release, Sheriff Randy Bower

There will be four public meetings this month for community members to learn more about our options for future law enforcement services. These options have been developed though the Law Enforcement Shared Services Study Project for Orleans County.

During the meetings the findings of the recent study will be discussed and input is welcome from the residents of Orleans County. As the cost of providing public protection and policing services continues to rise, it is imperative to explore ways to share or consolidate services.

I encourage the community to attend one of these meetings to learn of the ideas and possibilities, as well as to share their thoughts, and to ask questions.
