Shelridge crowns league champions
Contributed Photos – Alex Misiti and James Tee, left, have captured the 5:30 League title at Shelridge. Dave Bellucci and Dave Boice, right, have claimed the 2:30 League crown. Misiti and Tee took a two point lead after seven holes. They then held on to defeat Eric Gross and Steve Gross 11 1/2 to 10 1/2. Misiti, who had net birdies on thee of the last four holes, shot a net 36 and Tee a 37. Trailing by a point going into the last three holes, Boice went par-par-birdie to earn his team a 12 1/2 to 9 1/2 win and the 2:30 League title. That run was highlighted by his second shot on No. 9 hitting a 156 yard approach shot to within 210 feet of the pin to set up his birdie.
