Shelby, Ridgeway firefighters take officer training program in Genesee

BATAVIA – Twenty-nine regional firefighters participated in the four-hour Leadership, Accountabiity, Courage & Knowledge (L.A.C.K.) program held on the Genesee County Fire Training Center on Jan. 8.

The L.A.C.K. program provides an opportunity for fire officers, training officers and chief offers to improve their personal and organizational skill set. On-going education and training of first responders is essential for awareness, prevention and safe and effective response.
