Section VI Hall of Fame inducts Loughlin

Contributed Photos – Former long time Medina High football coach John “Pinky” Loughlin, who passed away in 2011, was inducted into the Section VI Hall of Fame Friday evening. Loughlin coached the Mustangs for 24 years from 1955-78. His teams won 13 Niagara-Orleans League titles and compiled a record of 135-50-7. Loughlin, who also coached track and baseball, served on both the Section VI football and basketball committees and was a long time Division 1 college basketball official. His son Joe accepted the honor on behalf of  the family.
