Seashorses score sweep over Raiders
Medina swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Barker this afternoon in Niagara-Orleans League swimming competition.
The Seahorses won the boys’ meet 111-53 and the girls’ competition 125-25.
Hunter Heil was a double winner for the Medina boys in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke as Xander Payne took the 200 Free, Gabe Mark the 500 Free and Isaac Pace the 100 Breaststroke.
In the girls meet, Hannah Heil doubled in the 100 Free and 200 Free, Amanda Woodruff in the 50 Free and 100 Butterfly and Margaret Klotzbach in the 500 Free and 100 Backstroke. Hannah Kenward also had a win in the 200 Individual Medley,
The Albion boys downed Akron 79-15 but Akron took the girls competition 50-39.
Roy-Hart also swept past Newfane but no team scores were listed.
Double winners for Roy-Hart included Carter Green in the 200 Free and 500 Free, Madison Ohol in the 200 Fee and 100 Backstroke and Mandy Hill in the 100 Breaststroke and 500 Free. She set a new league record in the 500 Free with a time of 5:23.35.
