Seahorses sweep Hornets

Medina splashed to a doubleheader victory over visiting Oakfield-Alabama this afternoon in a non league swim meet.

The Medina boys improved to 2-1 with a 97-82 victory and the girls squad stayed perfect at 3-0 with a 112-55 win.

Austin Heil was a double winner in the 200 and 500 freestyle events for the Medina boys squad which also had Chase Pecoraro win the 100 backstroke and Kristian Snyder the 100 breaststroke.

The Seahorses girls team got individual event wins by Emma Gardner (50 free), McKenzie Wright (100 free), Krista Nellist (100 backstroke) and Haylee Cogovan (100 breaststroke).

Roy-Hart sweeps Wheatland-Chili

Staying perfect at 4-0 Roy-Hart swept visiting Wheatland-Chili taking the boys meet 91-44 and the girls competition 109-49.

The Channel Cats boys squad had a trio of double winners in Roy Phipps (50 and 100 free), Nick DiNardo (200 and 500 free) and Lyle Wagner (200 individual medley and 100 backstroke).

The Roy-Hart girls got double win efforts from Calee Coleman (200 and 500 free) and Lindsay Yates (50 and 100 free).

Barker bests HAC

Barker’s teams likewise stayed perfect at 4-0 by downing visiting H-A-C 85-82 in the boys and 96-71 in the girls.
