Seahorses split with visiting TigerSharks; Channel Cats sweep Purple Eagles
Medina split with visiting Akron in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this evening.
The Seahorses won the boys’ meet 102-52 and the TigerSharks took the girls’ competition 109-40.
Jackson Reese doubled in the 200 Free and 50 Free and Bryson Ford in the 500 Free and 100 Backstroke for the Medina boys as Bradley Goyette captured the 200 Individual Medley..
Ford, Goyette, Jobi Wheeler, Aidan Papaj and Timothy Zeiner were each on two winning relays for the Seahorses.
For the Akron boys, Logan Meyers won the 100 Butterfly, Elden Ground the 100 Free and Aron Gehl the 100 Breaststroke.
The Akron girls captured all 10 events as Audrey Garverick took the 200 Free and 500 Free and Madigan Regan the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke. The TigerSharks also had Aurora VanDusen win the IM, Adelaide Mandell the 100 Free, and Avery Haak the 100 Backstroke.
Brooke Milhollen was on all three winning relays for the TigerSharks as Garverick and Regan were both on two.
Roy-Hart/Barker sweeps Albion
Roy-Hart/Barker swept visiting Albion winning the boys’ meet 84-74 and the girls’ 103-58
Hank Trombley doubled in the 500 Free and Backstroke for the Channel Cats as Garrett Glyshaw took the IM, Oscar Dergel the 50 Free and Kordell Demaison the Butterfly.
Matthew Kania won both the 200 Free and Breaststroke and Justin Kania the 100 Free for the Purple Eagles.
Ava Achtyl doubled in the 500 Free and Backstroke for the Roy-Hart/Barker girls as Cheyann Walker took the 100 Free and Abigail Glyshaw the IM.
Keira Sidari doubled in the 200 Free and Butterfly and Willow Gaines in the 50 Free and Breaststroke for Albion.
