Seahorses, Panthers split in N-O opener
Medina and host Newfane both scored a victory this afternoon in the Niagara-Orleans League season opener.
Medina won the boys meet 98-68 as Kristian Snyder took the 50 free, Jack Hill the 100 Butterfly and the quartet of Powell Stephens, Mason Pecoraro, Hunter Heil and Ian Joseph the 200 Free Relay.
Defending champion Newfane won the girls meet 113-55 as Lauren Seymour doubled in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke and Lauren Gaughran took the 200 Free and 500 Free.
The defending champion Roy-Hart boys team likewise opened with a victory 113-55 over Akron. Nate Milkoll doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Free as did Tanner Rees in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke.
Akron won the girls meet 90-80.
