It may be the end of the summer but the temperatures aren’t cooling off. September starts with hot temperatures in the mid-80s with 90 in the forecast on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says there will be prolonged hot weather from Monday through Wednesday with the combination of moisture and high temperatures resulting in uncomfortable conditions.

Today is forecast to be sunny with a high near 86, followed by highs of 85 on Sunday, 86 on Monday (Labor Day), 89 on Tuesday, 90 on Wednesday and 88 on Thursday.

Paul Zeppetella took this photo of the rainbow at Vets Park in Medina. Zeppetella is the coach of the Medina-Lyndonville varsity girls soccer team.
