Scholar/Athlete honors for Medina teams
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – FIELD HOCKEY – Compiling a composite grade point average of 98.0438 members of the Medina varsity field hockey team have earned a New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete Team Award. GOLF – Members of the Medina boys golf team have compiled a composite grade point average of 94.9333 to earn a NYSPHSAA Scholar/Athlete Team Award. In front are Ian Wagner, Melanie Green, Mitch Silversmith and Aidan Paul. In back are Trevor Luthart, Travis Stornelli, Angelo Soliday and Lucas Wilkins. Missing from the photo is Dylan Lonnen. Green, who helped the Mustangs win the Niagara-Orleans League title, earned a girls golf Scholar/Athlete Team Award as a team of one with a grade point average of 91.6333.
VOLLEYBALL: Compiling a composite grade point average of 94.093, members of the Medina varsity volleyball team have earned a NYSPHSAA Scholar/Athlete Team Award. GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Members of the Medina girls cross-country team have compiled a composite grade point average of 96.0742 to earn a NYSPHSAA Scholar/Athlete Team Award.
