Scanlan is 1st team All Conference honoree

Albion High graduate and Alfred University sophomore Abby Scanlan has been named to the first team of the Empire 8 All-Conference soccer squad.
She was a third team All-Conference honoree last year as a freshman.
Scanlan, who is majoring in Criminal Justice, led Alfred in scoring this season with 12 points on 5 goals and 2 assists. One of those goals was the game winner in a 2-0 victory over Houghton.
During her scholastic days at Albion Scanlan was a three-time first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honoree.
She also earned first team All-League honors and was named N-O Player of the Year in basketball her senior year.
