Sandstone, Elba ‘B’ post Midget League wins
Sandstone defeated Elba ‘A’ 11-1 and Elba ‘B’ downed Holley ‘B’ 19-0 in games that were reported from Albion Midget League action on Thursday.
Brycen Potter had 3 hits, including a pair of triples and 5 RBI, and Giavonni Lamartina a three-run triple to lead the offense for Sandstone which also got 2 hits each from Eli Johnson and Ela Spada who drove in 3 runs.
Potter also struck out 12 in 5 innings of work on the mound.
For Elba ‘B’ Ky Spurling, John Anderson an Evan Armbrewster combined to pitch a no hitter.
