Sandstone earns first Midget League win
Sandstone edged past Rotary 2-1 this past week to improve to 1-1 in Albion Midget League baseball action.
Snapping a 1-1 tie, Sandstone scored the game winner in the sixth inning on a hit by Elliott Trapiss as two walks set up the opportunity.
A double by Noah Harrison helped Rotary score a run in the third inning to knot the contest at 1-1.
Rotary is now 2-1.
