The Rampage lost a close 13-12 decision to Sandlot Saints Maroon (21U) Tuesday evening in a Metro Girls Softball League game.

Rampage took an early lead scoring 4 runs in the first inning but Sandlot battled back to win it in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Rampage hit the ball well banging out a total of 14 hits.  Hanna Sobieraski and Samantha Choate each had 3 hits including triples.  Jayden Townsend and Emily Metz each contributed 2 hits.  Kate Corra had a triple, Ashley Hill a double and Elizabeth Luick and Isabella Schultz  each had a single.

Defensively, Rampage kept Sandlot scoreless for the first 3 innings, but the experienced team battled back in the second half of the game.  Sobieraski went the distance on the mound striking out 5 and giving up 10 hits.  Luick made a great running catch on a line drive in center-field.
