Salamanca stickmen down Medina
Building up a commanding 15-1 halftime advantage, Salamanca went on to defeat visiting Medina 19-3 this afternoon in a Class D Division lacrosse game.
Zach Blount scored two goals and Zaric Boyce one for Medina.
Salamanca improves to 5-1 and Medina slips to 3-2.
Medina next hosts Gananda, which is coached by Mustangs alum Joe Sidari, in a non league game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The contest will be for the Little Blue Jug and will also be a contest to raise funds to fight ALS in the name of Medina alum Jimmer Szatkowski. There will be no admission but donations will be accepted to help fight this disease.

Albion 3, Roy-Hart 2
Wins at the first two singles spots by Carson Bader and Leo Bolton and by the first doubles team of Clara Bolton-Charlie London earned Albion a 3-2 Niagara-Orleans League win over Roy-Hart.
Mya Quinn won at third singles and the duo of Nik Gutierrez and Alex Stern took second doubles for Roy-Hart.
Albion is now 3-4 and Roy-Hart 3-3.
