Roy-Hart scored with just a minute to go to nip visiting Wilson 1-0 this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game.

Shannon Dent scored off an assist from Rielly Albee to give Roy-Hart the thrilling win as the Lady Rams improve to 6-5.

The Lady Rams victory not only avenged an earlier season 4-1 loss but also knocked Wilson (7-3-1) out of the N-O title chase.

Defending champion Barker stayed in the thick of the title race by edging past Newfane 2-0 to improve to 8-1-1.

Breaking away from a 0-0 deadlock, Barker scored what proved to be the game winning goal 10 minutes into the second half as Katrina Clare tallied off an assist from Emily Annable.

The Lady Raiders other goal came in the final minute on a shot by Natalie Menz off an assist from Emma Duffy.

The loss drops Newfane to 2-8.

Front-running Akron stayed perfect at 10-0 by blanking host Kenmore (1-9) 9-0 as Heather Cummings scored 4 goals and Abby Stone 3 to lead the way for the Lady Tigers.
