The accomplishments of Roy-Hart graduate and former USA Olympic team wrestler Lou Rosselli will be recognized this coming Saturday when a new Home of Champions banner is raised in his honor in the high school gym.

The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and will also include the honoring of Roy-Hart’s other two state wrestling champions, Drew Hull (2013) and Cameron Swick (2016).

Rosselli, a 1988 Roy-Hart graduate, is a two-time New York State wrestling champion.

He went on to earn All American honors at Edinboro University and was a member of the USA wrestling team at the 1996 Olympics. Since then he has coached at the collegiate level and with the USA Olympic team.

In addition, at 11 a.m. Saturday Rosselli and former long-time Roy-Hart Coach Dick Lang will hold a wrestling clinic at the Roy-Hart Middle School gym. Proceeds from the clinic will go to research on Parkinson’s disease which Lang is battling.
