Roy-Hart girls roll past Elba

Leading from wire to wire, Roy-Hart posted a 53-34 victory over visiting Elba this evening in a non league girls basketball game.
Reilly Albee, Skyler Christopher and Ava Bligh each scored 10 points to lead the balanced attack for Roy-Hart which got point product from a total of 11 players.
Albee scored 8 quick points in the first quarter to help spark Roy-Hart out to an 18-10 lead as Christopher, Bligh, Rachael Rausch, Sarah Duewiger and Aylssa Hess each chipped in with a basket.
Keeping the momentum, the Lady Rams extended the lead to 32-19 at the half as Bligh and Delaney Draper both scored a pair of baskets in the second period while Albee, Christopher and Maddy Glena each added one.

Now at 2-2 overall on the young season, Roy-Hart maintained a 15 point, 40-25, advantage at the three-quarter mark.
“That is the best game we’ve played,” said Roy-Hart Coach Don Baker. “We got good balanced scoring and points from 11 players which is really good.”
Roy-Hart next hosts Albion at 6:30 p.m. Friday in a Niagara-Orleans League game.
