Roy-Hart booters blank Batavia

Scoring a goal in each half, Roy-Hart blanked Batavia 2-0 Friday in the consolation game of the Holley boys soccer tournament.

Noah Kindron scored what proved to be the game winning goal for Roy-Hart in the first half off an assist from Steven Bruning.

The Rams later got an insurance goal in the second half by Jamal Hilson off an assist from Andrew Villella.

Andrew Srock earned the shutout in goal making 7 saves.

Roy-Hart, which was rebounding from a 5-0 loss to Holley in the semifinals, is now 1-1 on the young season.

Alden defeated Holley 5-2 in the championship game.

The Holley girls soccer tournament ail conclude this evening as Holley faces Greece Olympia in the consolation game at 4:30 p.m. followed by Roy-Hart vs. LeRoy in the championship contest at 6:30 p.m.
