Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina icers halt skid

The Roy-Hart-/Barker/ Medina (RBM) Club ice hockey team snapped a four game losing streak defeating host Olean 5-3 Sunday in a Western New York Club League contest.

RBM scored first on a goal by Dylan Krzykowski (Akron) assisted by Michael Kuchey (R-H) and Jacob Harris (Barker).

The  advantage increased to 2-0 before the end of the first period on a score from Jason Kuchey (R-H) assisted by Krzykowski and Trevor Crawford (Akron).

Olean cut the deficit to 2-1 in the second period, but RBM regained a two goal advantage on a goal by Tom Paisley (R-H) with assists from the Kuchey brothers.  Olean scored another goal in that period.

RBM took a 3-2 advantage into the third period and scored the eventual game winner off the stick of Joe DiBenedetto (R-H) assisted by Matt Saj (Medina).

Each team scored another goal, with the RBM tally coming from Luke Luckman (Barker) unassisted.

Currently at 1-1 in the White Division and 2-4 overall in the league, RBM’s next game is Wednesday December 13 against Lancaster on home ice in Lockport.
