Roy-Hart scores win; Medina and Albion bow in N-O League volleyball season openers

Roy-Hart outlasted Wilson in five sets 22-25, 25-7, 26-28, 25-14, 15-7 this evening to open the Niagara-Orleans League volleyball season.
Grace Pearl had 10 kills, Emily Livergood and Kylie McOmber 7 each and Ryleigh Capen 31 assists and 5 aces to lead the way for the Lady Rams.
In the other N-O openers, Newfane downed host Medina in four sets 18-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-15 and Akron bested Albion in 3 sets 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.
Natalie Herbert had 3 kills for Medina as Sam Heschke, Addy Paul, Maya Anderson each had 2. Paul and Maddy Watts each had 2 aces and Anderson and Herbert 2 blocks.
Taylor LeFrois had 6 aces and 5 kills for Albion.
