Roy-Hart trims Medina in Midget ‘A’ League season opener

Two runs in the fourth inning provided the margin of victory as Roy-Hart edged past host Medina 4-2 this evening in a season opening Lockport Midget ‘A’ League game that was halted by a thunderstorm in the sixth inning.
A single by Ryan Metz and a sacrifice bunt by winning pitcher Ryan Farewell plated the decisive two runs in the fourth inning for Roy-Hart.
Metz had two hits on the evening for Roy-hart which also scored twice in the first inning.
