Roy-Hart track teams sweep Medina
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Roy-Hart’s Sophia Santella won both the pole vault and discus during this afternoon’s victory over visiting Medina.
Roy-Hart swept to a pair of victories over visiting Medina this afternoon to close out the Niagara-Orlans League regular season of track competition.
Roy-Hart won the boys’ meet 98-43 as Brayden Ricker was a double winner in the 100 and 200, Jayden Swygert in the Long Jump and Triple Jump and Josiah Rodriquez in the 1600 and 3200.
The Rams finish the regular season at 4-1-1 and the Mustangs at 2-4.
Roy-Hart won the girls competition 83 2/3 – 57 1/3 as Julia Miles was a triple winner in the 100 Hurdles, 400 Hurdles and High Jump.
The Lady Rams also had Sophia Santella double in the Pole Vault and Discus and Julie Rhode in the 800 and 1500.
Medina’s Madelynn Rutledge was a double winner in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
The Lady Rams and Mustangs both finish at 2-4.
