Roy-Hart tops Medina in N-O volleyball finale

Roy-Hart completed a 7-3 Niagara-Orleans League volleyball season with a straight set 25-17, 25-12, 25-22 win over host Medina this evening.
Alex Stern had 9 spiking kills and 3 service aces and Samantha Albright 7 kills and 3 aces to lead the way for the Lady Rams.
Stern had 3 kills, Albright 2 and Emily Livergood 3 aces to spark Roy-Hart in the opening set. A kill by Stern polished off the set winning 25th point.
Stern then served up points 2-5, Elsenheimer 9-12 and Albright 14-17 to pace Roy-Hart in the second set as Stern again had a kill for the final point.
Elsenheimer then had 4 aces as Stern and Albright both registered 3 kills for the Lady Rams in the third et up close out the win.
Phallon Rivera had 3 aces and Ki’Mani Poole 2 on the evening for Medina which finishes the N-O season at 2-8.
Newfane 25-28-23-25, Albion 15-26-25-10
Emma Hoffer had 15 digs and 1 ace, Lauren Bax 5 kills and Charley Buscaglia 15 assists and 2 aces for Newfane in the four set win over Albion.
