Roy-Hart tops Medina in N-O field hockey

A trio of players contributed goals as Roy-Hart blanked visiting Medina 3-0 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game.

Miah Glena gave Roy-Hart a quick 1-0 lead when she scored just seven minutes in off an assist from Abby Ander.

Lexi Diel doubled the Lady Rams advantage when she scored with 6:59 to go in the first half off assists from Mandi Hill and Ander.

Madison Brown then scored the clincher for the Lady Rams early in the second half off an assist from Samantha Choate.

Roy-Hart improves to 2-0 in N-O action and Medina slips to 0-2.

In the other N-O games, Akron (2-0) blanked Newfane (0-1) 11-0 and Wilson (1-1) edged Kenmore (0-2) 3-2.

Byron-Bergen 25-25-25, Albion 3-20-15
Byron-Bergen downed Albion 25-3, 25-20, 25-15 in a non league volleyball match as Madison Farnsworth had 11 aces and 8 kills.

Medina’s Sophia Cardone and Roy-Hart’s Lexi Diel battle for possession of the ball.
