Roy-Hart tops Medina; Akron blanks Barker

Roy-Hart bested visiting Medina 6-0 this afternoon in Niagara-Orleans League field hockey on the Lady Rams annual “Stick It To Cancer” game.

RayLynn Chraston scored two goals for the Lady Rams as Katelin Corra, Alyssa Ickowski, Shannon Dent and Lexi Lovewell each netted one.

Roy-Hart improves to 6-2 while Medina slips to 1-8.

Akron 4, Barker 0
Defending champion Akron blanked visiting Barker 4-0 to open up a two game N-O lead.

Abby Stone scored a pair of goals for the Lady Tigers as Kaitlyn Gaik and Abby Enfield both added one.

The trio of Cierra Janis, Olivia Diebel and Amanda Jeziorowski anchored the Akron defense.

Akron is now 8-0 and Barker 6-2.

Wilson 3, Newfane 1
Gabe Graca, Olivia Mitchell and Erin Boyle each scored a goal as Wilson (5-4) downed rival Newfane (2-7) 3-1.
