Roy-Hart tops Akron to grab U19 Div. lead

Taking over first place, Roy-Hart blanked visiting Akron 2-0 in a key Buffalo and District Youth Soccer League girls U19 Division game Tuesday evening.
The victory boosts Roy-Hart’s record to 7-1-1 (22 points) as Akron slips into the runner-up spot at 6-1-2 (20 points).
Kara Choate scored a goal in each half to spark the Roy-Hart attack as Sophia Allee earned the assist on both tallies.
Courtney Aquilina earned the shutout in goal.
Roy-Hart will now visit Akron next Tuesday in the season finale with the division title on the line.
