Roy-Hart tips Medina in field hockey in OT

Roy-Hart outlasted Medina 4-3 in overtime at Vets Park this evening in the completion of a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game suspended by bad weather early in the season.
Abigail Glyshaw scored the game winning goal for Roy-hart with 2:48 remaining in the 7 on 7 10 minute overtime period.
Roy-Hart had jumped out to a 2-0 first quarter lead on goals by Brooke Zglinicki and Savannah Newton before play was suspended on September 9.
The Lady Rams held a 3-1 lead at the half as Violette Streckewald scored in the second quarter as did Penelope Schalck for the Mustangs.
Medina came battling back in the second half to knot the contest at 3-3 as Tatianna Maxon scored a goal in both the third and fourth quarters.
Roy-Hart is now 6-3 and Medina 3-6 in N-O action.
Boys Soccer
Attica 2, Albion 0
Attica downed host Albion 2-0 in a non league boys soccer game this evening.
Girls Soccer
City Honors 1, Roy-Hart 0
City Honors improved to 13-2 with a 1-0 win over visiting Roy-Hart in a non league girls soccer game.
Roy-Hart is now 11-2-1.
Medina’s Tatianna Maxon, who scored two goals works to get a shot past Roy-Hart goalie Emma Law.
