Roy-Hart teams split Midget ‘B’ twin bill
Rival Roy-Hart squads split a doubleheader by the identical score of 4-2 Monday evening in Lockport Midget ‘B’ League action.
Improving to 4-3, Roy-Hart 1 took the opening game scoring three quick runs in the first inning on a two-run triple by Tim Maines and an RBI single by Matt Maines.
Alex Farewell picked up the win on the mound allowing five hits.
Justin Heschke had three hits for Roy-Hart 2 including a pair of doubles.
Roy-Hart 2 rebounded to take the second game as Al Xapsos had a key two run double.
Heschke and Jacob Bruning shared the pitching duties giving up seven hits.
Chase Bodall had a double for Roy-Hart 1.
