Roy-Hart swimmers sweep Medina

Roy-Hart swept past visiting Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this afternoon taking the boys’ competition 94-76 and the girls’ 113-56.

Improving to 3-1, the Roy-Hart boys squad was led by a trio of individual event double winners including Will Rickard (50 Free, 100 Free), Carter Green (200 Individual Medley, 500 Free) and Michael Miller (100 Butterfly, 100 Backstroke).

Medina’s Isaac Pace the 100 Breaststroke and August Pietrafesa the 200 Free.

The loss drops Medina to 2-2.

Staying unbeaten at 4-0, the Roy-Hart girls had a pair of double winners as Amanda Hill took the 200 Free and 100 Butterfly and Madison Ohol the Individual Medley and Backstroke. Hill set a new school record time of 2:02.17 in the 200 Free.

Kayla Hagen also took the 100 Free, Sandra Sparks the 500 Free and Holly DiMayo the Breaststroke for R-H.

Hannah Heil won the 50 Free for Medina which is now 2-2.

In the other N-O boys’ meet, Barker (2-2) defeated Akron (1-3) 92-67.

Akron (3-1) bested Barker (1-3) 95-48 in the other girls’ meet.
