Roy-Hart swimmers sweep Albion

Taking first place in 19 of 22 events, Roy-Hart swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Albion in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this afternoon.

The Channel Cats won the boys’ meet 113-57 and the girls’ competition 98-42.

Carter Green doubled in the 200 Freestyle and 500 Free and Michael Miller in the 200 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke to lead the way for the Roy-Hart boys squad which also had Matt Scott win the 200 Individual Medley, Noah Stern the 50 Free, Will Rickard the 100 Free and Charles Rickard the 100 Breaststroke.

The Roy-Hart boys squad is now 2-0 and Albion 0-1-1.

Madison Ohol took both the 200 Free and 100 Backstreoke and Kayla Hagen the Individual Medley and 100 Free for the Roy-Hart girls squad which also had Kennedy Lang win the 50 Free, Molly Russell the 100 Butterfly and Mandy Hill the 500 Free.

Rylee Perles won the 100 Breaststroke for Albion.

The Roy-Hart girls are 2-0 and Albion 0-2.

The other N-O meet saw Barker and Newfane split. Barker won the boys’ meet 88-73 and Newfane took the girls’ competition 116-33.
