Roy-Hart swimmers sweep Akron; Albion teams sweep, Medina splits in road meets
Roy-Hart’s boys and girls swim teams both scored victories at Akron this afternoon to remain undefeated at 3-0 in Niagara-Orleans League competition.
The Roy-Hart boys won 130-38 as Carter Green doubled in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke and Noah Stern in the 200 Free and 100 Butterfly.
The Roy-Hart girls won 98-71 as Madison Ohol doubled in the 200 Free and 500 Free, Mandy Hill in the Individual Medley and Butterfly and Kayla Hagen in the 100 Free and 100 Backstroke.
The Albion boys improved to 1-1-1 with a 97-38 win at Barker as Zach Kilner doubled in the Individual Medley and Butterfly.
The Medina boys improved to 2-0-1 with a 110-59 victory at Newfane as Xander Payne doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Free and Hunter Heil in the Butterfly and Backstroke. Chris Goyette also won the 200 Free and Isaac Pace the 100 Breaststroke for the Seahorses.
In the girls competition, Albion defeated Barker 88-42 and Newfane downed Medina 94-76. Hanah Heil doubled for Medina in the 50 Free and 100 Free.
