For the last three years Roy-Hart’s football squad has been a tri-school team including players from Barker and Lyndonville. This season the Roy-Hart boys and girls swim squads will likewise be tri-school teams with the addition of swimmers from Barker and Lyndonville.

Anchoring the lineup will a group of veteran Channel Cats swimmers who placed in the top five at last year’s Niagara-Orleans All-League meet. They include sophomore Karisma Washington (4th in 100 Butterfly, 5th in 200 Individual Medley), sophomore Sean Labiak (2nd in IM and 500 Freestyle), junior Julia Miles (5th in 50 Free and 100 Free), senior Andrew Ossont (1st in 50 Free, 2nd in 100 Free), senior Nadia White (2nd 100 Breaststroke) and Ava Achtyl (5th 100 Backstroke). White and Miles were both on the winning 400 Freestyle Relay team.

The Channel Cats other returning seniors include Max Stern, Zack Walker, Evan Gerdes, Amelia Konstanty, Ada Livergood and Alexis Seib.

The Roy-Hart boys shared the N-O title with Medina at 9-1 while the girls posted a 7-3 record.

Roy-Hart will tune up for the December 8 N-O opener at Newfane with a pair of non league meets at home against Notre Dame on Dec. 1 and at Oakfield-Alabama on Dec. 6.
