Roy-Hart sweeps Medina in N-O track meet

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Medina’s Kaedon Cleveland heads to a win in the 110 Hurdles ahead of Roy-Hart’s Jack Johnson during this afternoon’s Niagara-Orleans League meet at Roy-Hart.

Roy-Hart swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Medina this afternoon in the Niagara-Orleans League track and field regular season finale.

The Rams won the boys’ meet 77-64 and the girls’ competition 88-52 as both teams finish with 4-2 N-O records.

Jayden Swygert was a triple winner in the 100, Long Jump and Triple Jump for the Roy-Hart boys which also got individual event wins from Josiah Rodriquez (1600), Ronan Klug (400), Jack Johnson (400 Hurdles), Matt VanBuren (3200) and Landon Guild (High Jump).

Roosevelt Mitchell was a double winner in the Shotput and Discus for Medina which also had Kaedon Cleveland win the 110 Hurdles, Gabe Mark the 800, Mason Moreland the 200 and David Vanderwalker the Pole Vault.

Nadia White doubled in the 400 and Triple Jump, Alexis Cacciatore in the 200 and High Jump and Amelia Konstanty in the 1500 and Long Jump for the Roy-Hart girls which also got wins from Cheyenne Stilwell (100), Julia Miles (400 Hurdles), Addison Carr (800), Marissa Bryant (3200) and Sophia Santella (Pole Vault).

Phallon Rivera doubled in the Shotput and Discus and Ellie Roath won the 100 Hurdles for Medina.

Roy-Hart’s Nadia White competes in the Long Jump. She scored wins in the Triple Jump and 400.
