Roy-Hart sweeps Medina in N-O track

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Scoring wins in the 100 at today’s meet at Medina were Medina’s Maddy Rutledge and Roy-Hart’s Trent Choate who here surges across the finish line. Rutledge was a triple winner and Choate a double winner on the day.

Roy-Hart scored a sweep over host Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League track meet today winning the boys’ competition 82-48 and the girls’ 78-53.

Brandin Allen was a triple winner for the Roy-Hart boys in the 110 Hurdles, 400 Hurdles and High Jump while Trent Choate doubled in the 100 and 200 and Jay Heideman in the 1600 and 3200. Chris Ulrich also took the 400 and Ronan Klug the 800 for the Rams.

Medina had Bryson Costich double in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, Roosevelt Mitchell win the Shotput and David Vanderwalker the Discus.

In the girls’ meet for Roy-Hart, Nadia White doubled in the 800 and Triple Jump and Alexis Cacciatore in the 200 and 400.

The Lady Rams also had Amelia Konstanty win the 1500, Julia Miles the 400 Hurdles, Marisa Bryant the 3000 and Sophia Santella the Pole Vault.

Maddy Rutledge was a triple winner for Medina in the 100, Long Jump and High Jump.

The Mustangs also had Ellie Roath win the 100 Hurdles, Tatiana Baity the Shotput and Phallon Rivera the Discus.
