Roy-Hart spikers score win over Albion

Roy-Hart evened its Niagara-Orleans League volleyball record at 1-1 with a straight set 25-15, 25-7, 25-14 win over visiting Albion this evening.

Emily Livergood had a big run of 8 straight service points (15-22) and Raegen Kern served up an ace for the 25th point to lead the way for Roy-Hart in the opening set.

In the second set for the Lady Rams, Ella Martillotta served up 7 in a row (8-14) including 2 aces, Grace Pearl 6 straight (16-21) with 3 aces and Brooklyn Schumacher the final three including two aces.

The final set saw Livergood serve up points 2-6 with 2 aces and Ryleigh Capen 4-14 with 2 aces and also 20-22 to help the Lady Rams close out the win.

Akron 25-25-28, Medina 16-11-26

Akron scored a three set 25-16, 25-11, 28-26 win over host Medina taking the deciding third set in overtime.

Lorelei Sanders had 7 aces for Medina as Maddy Watt, Addy Paul and Lexoni Russo each had 1. Paul and Kelsey Lemoi each had a block while Karlee Cau and Kylie Poynter each had 2 kills.

Alexander 25-25-25, Lyndonville 9-18-13

Alexander scored a theee set win over Lyndonville 25-9, 25-18, 25-13 in a Genesee Region League match.

Jackie Mack had 2 kills, 2 blocks and 6 digs, Madison Davis 2 aces, 2 kills and 5 digs; Ashlee Stephens 6 assists, 1 ace and 1 block and Alyssa Prine 2 kills, 2 digs and 1 ace for Lyndonville
