Roy-Hart netters edge past Medina

A pair of three set victories keyed Roy-Hart to a narrow 3-2 1/2 win over visiting Medina this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League tennis match.

Dominic Pericciny’s come-from-behind three set 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at third singles over Andrew Houseman proved to be the deciding point for Roy-Hart.

The Rams also got a key three-set win by the first doubles team of Michael and Jason Kuchey, 7-6, 3-6, 7-6 over Kody Leno and Jonathan Pietrafesa.

Collin Dodge also scored  a win for Roy-Hart at second singles defeating Haylee Seefeldt 6-2, 6-1.

Ray Paull won at first singles for Medina downing Cameron VanBuren 6-1, 6-1.

The Mustang also got wins at second doubles as Carter Green and Ben Zakes downed Aspen Moore and Jordyn Bobzein 7-6, 6-1 and at third doubles as Mark Barcena and Isaac Pace defeated Isabella Kiern and Kristina Burdick 6-2, 7-6.

Roy-Hart and Medina are now both 2-1 in N-O action.

In the other N-O match, Wilson (2-2) defeated Albion (2-2) 4-1. The Akron vs. Newfane match was postponed.
