Roy-Hart girls top Medina to go to 8-0
Front-running Roy-Hart posted a 16-3 win over visiting Medina this afternoon to improve to 8-0 in Niagara-Orleans League softball competition.
Winning pitcher Reanna Perkins, who registered 9 strikeouts in the circle, also helped herself at the plate by banging out a two-run home run and a single.
Maria Peracciny and Molly Russell both chipped in with doubles for the Lady Rams. Peracciny had a total of 3 RBIs.
Iyla Lilleby had a triple and a home run for Medina which is now 2-8.
Wilson 14, Albion 12
Bella Lemke had 4 hits and Rian Faery a home run to highlight the offense for Wilson ins a 14-12 win over Albion.
Mackenzie Snook and Kenzi Hapeman both had 3 hits for Albion as Aly Knaak and Leah Pritchard each had 2.
Wilson is now 6-3 and Albion 4-6.
Kendall 6, Oakfield-Alabama 4
A first inning triple play from pitcher Sara Mattle to first baseman Lauren Pilon to second baseman Grace Levett sparked Kendall to a 6-4 Genesee Region League win over Oakfield-Alabama.
Shelby Kruger had 3 hits, including a double, to lead Kendall at the plate.
