Last year Roy-Hart dominated at the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League girls individual swim championship meet winning six of 11 events.

Now, with all of the swimmers back from those six winning events, the Channel Cats are pointing to another big evening at this year’s All-League meet which will be held Friday at Newfane beginning at 5:30 p.m.

At last year’s meet for Roy-Hart, Amanda Hill doubled in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly and Kayla Hagen took both the 100 Free and 100 Backstroke.

Hill, Hagen and Jenna Heiser also teamed up with Holly DiMayo to win the 200 Medley Relay and with Madison Ohol to take the 400 Free Relay.

Newfane’s Lauren Gaughran, who was a double winner in the 200 Free and 500 Free, also returns as does Medina’s Hannah Heil who took the 50 Free.

The N-O boys All-League Individual championship meet will be held on Wednesday at Akron beginning at 5:30 p.m. with Albion’s Matt Kovaleski, who won the 100 Breaststroke last year, the only returning winner.

The Roy-Hart girls captured the N-O team championship this season by posting a 10-0 dual meet record. Last year the Channel Cats shared the title with Akron at 9-1.

The Albion boys likewise compiled a perfect 10-0 dual meet record to claim the N-O boys team championship.  Last year the Purple Eagles shared the title with Barker at 9-1.
