Roy-Hart girls score six wins at the N-O All-League Individual Swimming Championships

Contributed Photo – Earning first place honors at this evening’s annual Niagara-Orleans League Girls Individual Swimming championships held at Newfane were Kayla Hagen, Holly DiMayo, Amanda Hill Jenna Heiser and Madison Ohol from Roy-Hart, Lauren Gaughran from Newfane, Hannah Heil from Medina, Sara Gendrue from Barker and Mindy Doktor, Madison Kaczmarek, Morgan Harris and Madison Harris from Akron.

Roy-Hart scored victories in six of 11 events at the annual Niagara-Orleans League Girls Individual Swimming championships held this evening at Newfane.

Amanda Hill was a double winner in the 200 Individual Medley (2:24.98) and 100 Butterfly (1:06.11) and Kayla Hagen in the 100 Free (:55.37) and 100 Backstroke (1:04.21) for Roy-Hart.

Hagen, Hill and Jenna Heiser also teamed up with Holly DiMayo to win the 200 Medley Relay (1:59.22) and with Madison Ohol to capture the 400 Free Relay in a league record time of 3:52.34.

Lauren Gaughran was a double winner for Newfane as she repeated as the winner in both the 200 Free (2:06.88) and 500 Free (5:42.33).

Medina’s Hannah Heil repeated as the 50 Free winner (:25.09) as did Barker’s Sara Gendrue in the 100 Breaststroke (1:14.71)

Akron’s quartet of Mindy Doktor, Madison Kaczmarek, Morgan Harris and Madison Harris took top honors in the 200 Free Relay (1:47.89).

Second place honors in the individual events were earned by Madison Harris (200 Free), Gendrue (200 Individual Medley), Barker’s Natalie Menz (50 Free), Albion’s Michaela Pantano (100 Butterfly), Heil (100 Free), Ohol (500 Free), Akron’s Alexis Cramer (100 Backstroke) and DiMayo (100 Breaststroke).

Earning third place honors were Ohol (200 Free), Akron’s Skyler Masse (200 Individual Medley), Kaczmarek (50 Free), Morgan Harris (100 Butterfly), Newfane’s Meghan Mietlicki (100 Free), Madison Harris (500 Free), Newfane’s Lauren Seymour (100 Backstroke) and Newfane’s Erin Harrington (100 Breaststroke).
