Roy-Hart girls rally past Depew
Rebounding from a seven point half-time deficit, Roy-Hart bested Depew 48-39 this evening in a non league girls basketball game.
Shelby Wolf poured in 21 points and Meghan Washington 17 to lead the way for the Lady Rams.
Trailing 26-19 at the half, Roy-Hart pulled even at 33-33 by outscoring Depew 14-7 in the the third period. Wolf scored 7 and Washington 5 to lead that rally.
Keeping the momentum, Roy-Hart then outscored Depew 15-6 in the final stanza to claim the win as Wolf tallied 7 and Washington 6.
In another non league game, LeRoy defeated Albion 50-41.
Kirsten Struble scored 12 and Lexi Wolck 9 for Albion which led 23-18 at the half.
LeRoy used a big 21-8 fourth period scoring edge to claim the win.
In Genesee Region League games, Elba defeated Lyndonville 73-18 and Wheatland-Chili downed Kendall 43-15.
