Roy-Hart field hockey returns veteran laden squad

Led by a large group of 11 returnees, Roy-Hart’s varsity field hockey team is looking to improve upon last year’s 1-11 Niagara-Orleans League record.

Senior Casidhe Heschke, who earned first team N-O All-League honors, and sophomore Rielly Albee, who was a second team selection, head the Lady Rams veteran contingent which also includes seniors Kelsey Eldridge, Ashley Childs, Mariah Rees, Deanna Catalano, Samantha Steves, Phoebe Klatt, Samantha Gordon, Madison Dent and sophomore Angelina Ciarfella.

“This group has been playing together all summer and we have a strong group of seniors which I hope proves us with a lot of leadership,” said Coach Colleen Albee. “I’m hoping we can use their experience and our speed to do some good things. ”

The Lady Rams will open the N-O season at home Thursday against Newfane.
