Roy-Hart earns first win by downing Maritime

Roy-Hart earned victory No. 1 on the young season by downing host Maritime 66-59 in a non league contest this evening.

Jamel Johnson Jr. scored 22 to lead the way for Roy-Hart as Rem Albee and Jackson Webber both netted 14.

Leading by narrow margins of 33-31 at the half and 49-48 at the three-quarter mark, Roy-Hart closed out the win in the final period as Johnson had 5 points, Webber 4 clutch free throws and Albee a key 3.

Now at 1-2, Roy-Hart next hosts Notre Dame in another non league contest at noon Saturday.

Pal-Mac 59, Albion 29
Jumping out to a 27-9 halftime lead, host Palmyra-Macedon went on to defeat Albion 59-29 in a non league game. Amari Jones led Albion with 14.

Notre Dame 86, Barker 61
Building up a commanding 54-22 halftime advantage, Notre Dame went on to down visiting Barker 86-61 in a non league game. Luey Castro scored 29 and Aidan Mescall 11 for Barker.

RAC 86, Kendall 61
Rochester Academy built up a 51-19 halftime lead in route to posting an 84-47 non league win over host Kendall. Louie Conte scored 10 and Devin Edick 8 for Kendall which next hosts Attica at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Genesee Region League opener.
