Roy-Hart completes sweep of Lightning
Completing a home-and-home season series sweep, Roy-Hart edged the Lockport Lightning 3-2 Tuesday evening in a Buffalo and WNY Jr. Soccer League girls 19U Division game.
Kara Choate, Grace Trombley and Sophia Allee took turns scoring goals for Roy-Hart which had also downed the Lightning 3-1 earlier in the season.
Improving to 5-1-1, Roy-Hart has also scored wins over Amherst 6-3, Kenmore 2-0 and Delaware 2-1. R-H also tied Amherst 3-3 and lost to Delaware 5-4.
Roy-Hart next hosts Kenmore next Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. at Gasport.
Chili downs Raptors
The Chili Peppers blanekd the Holley Raptors 4-0 in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls 19U Division game Tuesday.
Now at 3-4-1, the Raptors next host the Chili Fusion at 6 p.m. Thursday at Genesee Community College.
