Roy-Hart clinches tie for N-O boys swim title
Defending champion Roy-Hart clinched at least a tie for a second straight Niagara-Orleans League boys swim title by downing Medina 107-63 this afternoon in a “virtual” meet.
Carter Green doubled in the 200 Free and 500 Free to lead the way for Roy-Hart which stays undefeated at 8-0.
The Channel Cats also had Noah Stern win the 50 Free and Sean Labiak the 100 Backstroke.
Issac Pace doubled in the 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke and Michael Marker in the 100 Butterfly and 200 Individual Medley for runner-up Medina which is now 6-2.
The Roy-Hart girls completed the sweep by downing Medina 92-77 to improve to 6-2.
Amanda Hill doubled in the IM and Butterfly for the Channel Cats as Sophia Santella took the 500 Free, Molly Russell the Backstroke and Nadia White the Breaststroke.
Amanda Woodruff doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Free and Madelynn Satkowski took the 200 Free for Medina which is now 4-4.
The Akron girls put a lock on the N-O title by dining Albion 129-35 to go to 9-0.
Mayah Harris doubled in the 500 Free and Breaststroke and CC Morey in the Butterfly and Backstroke for Akron.
The Akron boys also downed Albion 86-78 to go to 5-4 as Aiden Polkowski doubled in the IM and 100 Free and Zander Borton in the 200 Free and 500 Free.
Finn McCue won the 50 Free and Jacob Coolbaugh the Breaststroke for Albion.
