Roy-Hart cagers edge Tonawanda
Roy-Hart trimmed Tonawanda 55-52 this evening in a non league boys basketball game played at Niagara County Community College.
Rhett Goodwin scored 16, Tom Ragonese 14 and Gavyn Boyle 13 to lead the Rams balanced attack.
Roy-Hart led 15-8 after one quarter, 27-24 at the half and 43-36 at the three-quarter mark.
However, the Rams fell behind 50-49 with two minutes to go and needed a clutch late 6-0 run on baskets by Ragonese and Boyle followed by a pair of free throws by Goodwin, to rally for the win.
In the first half of the doubleheader the Roy-Hart girls lost 81-43 to Holland.
Shelby Wolf scored 14 and Ava Owens 11 for the Lady Rams.
