Roy-Hart cagers edge past CCA
Roy-Hart edged past visiting Central Christian Academy 63-61 this evening in the Rams non league season opening boys basketball game.
Trailing 41-39, Roy-Hart needed a 24-20 scoring edge in the final period to claim the narrow win.
Jacob Bruning scored 14 of this 24 points to spearhead the Rams decisive final period rally. He also tallied 7 in the third period.
Noah Kindron added 15 points while Charlie Brigham and Charlie Bruning each chipped in with 10 on the evening for the Rams.
Kindron scored 7 in the second period to help Roy-Hart grab a 26-22 half-time advantage. He also tallied 6 in the decisive final period.
Josh Tyson took game high scoring honors for CCA with 26 as Zack Miller added 12.
