Roy-Hart cagers down Cleve Hill
A basket at the buzzer to end the first half ignited Roy-Hart to a 58-50 victory over visiting Cleve Hill this evening in a non league boys basketball game.
Noah Kindron scored on a layup at the buzzer after a steal by Jacob Bruning to put Roy-Hart on top 29-27 at the half.
Keeping the momentum, the Rams then outscored the Eagles 17-8 in the third period to extend the advantage to 46-35. Bruning scored 7 and Charlie Brigham 4 to lead that surge.
Bruning finished with 18, Kindron 17 and Brigham 12 as the Rams improve to 4-2.
Girls Basketball
Elba 63, Kendall 27
Building up a commanding 46-17 half-time advantage, Elba went on to defeat visiting Kendall 63-27 in a Genesee Region League game.
Maddie Muehig scored 17 to lead Elba as Emily Reynolds and Leah Bezon both tallied 11.
Brittney Marks scored 7 and Lyndsay Wright and Taylor ReQua 5 for Kendall.
Both teams are now 3-1.

Alexander downed host Holley-Kendall 43-36 in a Genesee Region League wrestling match.
