Roy-Hart booters blank Wilson

Staying within a game of the top spot, Roy-Hart shutout Wilson 2-0 in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game this evening at Gasport.

Jamasen Johnson scored a goal in each half for the Rams as Jose Campos and Andrew Srock earned the assists.

Kodey Hayes made 6 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Roy-Hart improves to 6-2 while Wilson slips to 3-3-1.

Newfane 5, Albion 1
Front-running defending champion Newfane used a quick two goal scoring burst late in the first half to key a 5-1 win over Albion.

Albion jumped out to a 1-0 lead as Spencer Lombard scored off an assist from Noah Goudreau.

However, Newfane answered back with goals by Mateo May and Trevor Moreland to take the lead for good by a 2-1 margin at the half.

May then locked up the win for the Panthers by tallying three unanswered goals in the second half.

Moreland also had 3 assists and May 1.

Newfane is now 7-1 and Albion 2-5 in N-O action.

Attica edged past visiting Kendall and Byron-Bergen nipped host Holley by the identical 1-0 score in  Genesee Region League games.

Kara Sequin and Jenna Robnett each scored a pair of goals to lead Akron (8-1) to a 7-0 win over Bakrer (0-9) as Amanda Swader, Maggie Leeds and Caeley Hursch each netted 1.
