Staying within a game of the top spot, Roy-Hart shutout Medina/Lyndonville 3-0 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game at Lyndonville.

The victory boosts Roy-Hart’s N-O record to 3-1 and keeps the Rams within a game of undefeated (4-0) defending champion Newfane.

Noah Kindron scored what proved to be the game winning goal for Roy-Hart with 18 minutes to go in the first half off an assist from Andrew Srock.

Roy-Hart opened up a little breathing room when Aaron Miller scored 12 minutes into the second half.

The Rams then put a lock on the victory when Aidan Bligh tallied with 13 minutes remaining.

Jamasen Johnson earned the assist on both of those second half goals.

The loss drops Medina/Lyndonville to 1-2.
